Random ramblings of an IT Systems Engineer

Yeah, I know what you’re thinking… ANOTHER TECH BLOG!  Yes, another tech blog.  The intent of this blog is to put together a collection of helpful posts in a wide-range of topics.  Hopefully the information will be helpful to other DBA’s, Network Admins, Storage Admins or Systems Engineers that are struggling with the same problems I have encountered.

I was a Database Administrator for 12 years before becoming an Infrastructure Architect.  But I wasn’t JUST a Database Administrator.  I was a SAN Administrator, Network Administrator, and the list goes on and on and on and on…  I’ve been fortunate enough to have worked alongside, and for, some good people over the years and have been able to work in a number of different areas.  Kind of a jack of all trades master of some situation.
